Meet Krusha Bhatt.

Legal Educator | NCA-Qualified | Canadian Law Instructor

I founded Master NCA because I know that learning Canadian law as an internationally trained lawyer is both an academic and a professional transition.

The challenge is not simply learning new laws. It is learning how Canadian law is structured, how Canadian courts reason, how Canadian legal concepts differ from familiar legal systems, and how to demonstrate that understanding in an examination.

My role at Master NCA is to make that transition clearer.

What began as teaching Canadian law became something much larger: helping internationally trained lawyers rebuild their confidence in a new legal system.

My teaching philosophy

I don’t believe in teaching law as a list of rules to memorise. I believe in teaching students how to think with the law.

My classes therefore focus on:

  1. Conceptual clarity

Understanding the principle before trying to memorise it.

  2. Case-based learning

Understanding what courts actually did with the law.

  3. Structured legal reasoning

Learning how to move from facts to issues, rules, analysis and conclusions.

  4. Exam strategy

Understanding how to translate legal knowledge into an effective examination answer.

  5. Individual guidance

Recognising that every internationally trained lawyer comes with a different legal background and learning experience.

What her students say

Her notes were unlike anything I have ever seen before. They were not ordinary lectures, they were experiences.

When it comes to Canadian criminal law, Krusha Bhatt has the most knowledge and the strongest command I have ever witnessed.

Vaishali Canadian Criminal Law

I was honestly super scared about Criminal, but because of all the effort you put in, I was able to do it.

Beyond NCA teaching

My work in legal education extends beyond NCA preparation. I taught law for six and a half years at Jindal Global Law School, O.P. Jindal Global University, where I rose from Assistant Lecturer to Assistant Professor. I have worked across areas including Canadian Law and Competition Law, delivered academic lectures and taken part in legal education initiatives involving internationally trained lawyers.

At Jindal, I taught Constitutional Law, Competition Law, Public International Law, Civil Procedure, Labour Laws, and Moot Court and Trial Advocacy, and supervised LL.M. dissertations.

I have coached moot court teams, including the Symbiosis Hyderabad team that won Best Written Submission at the 18th John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition, and guided the Jindal team that reached the top 12 and won the HSF Scholarship Award for Best Written Pleadings at the Herbert Smith Freehills Competition Law Moot at King’s College London. I have judged national moot court, client counselling and debate competitions.

I have published legal research and taken part in academic discussions on comparative and international legal issues, with published work in the European Competition Law Review, the Yearbook of Antitrust and Regulatory Studies and the Indian Journal of Law and Public Policy.

Most recently, I was invited to take part in a Canadian legal accreditation information session organised with the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, for law students, graduates, lawyers and legal professionals based in India.

Why I teach

Every time a student tells me that a subject which initially seemed impossible finally makes sense, I am reminded why I chose teaching. And when that understanding turns into a successful NCA result, it becomes even more meaningful.

At Master NCA, our goal is not simply to help you pass an exam. It is to help you become comfortable thinking about Canadian law.

About Master NCA

Canadian law can be learned. It just needs to be taught differently.

Master NCA was created with a simple belief: internationally trained lawyers do not need to forget everything they already know. They need to understand how their legal knowledge translates into the Canadian legal system.

The NCA journey can be challenging, not simply because of the volume of material, but because candidates are often learning a new legal framework while learning how to think and write within it.

That is where Master NCA comes in. Our coaching institute prepares candidates for the National Committee on Accreditation exams with the knowledge, reading material and exam strategies they need, and our structured programs bridge the gap between international legal education and the Canadian legal system.

Our mission is to help internationally trained lawyers integrate into the Canadian legal profession through high-quality NCA preparation, personalised mentorship and practical learning resources.

Our approach

We combine conceptual teaching, Canadian case law, structured legal analysis and exam-focused preparation. Our teaching philosophy can be summed up in four words.

  1. 01

    Understand.

Build a strong conceptual foundation in Canadian law.

  2. 02

    Analyse.

Learn how Canadian courts approach legal problems and how principles operate in real cases.

  3. 03

    Apply.

Analyse fact patterns and construct clear, structured exam answers.

  4. 04

    Write.

Communicate your legal reasoning effectively within the demands of an NCA exam.

We don’t believe that successful NCA preparation is about memorising hundreds of pages. It is about understanding the principles well enough to recognise them in a new factual situation, and applying them effectively.

More than an examination journey

For many internationally trained lawyers, the NCA is a career transition. It means taking years of legal education and professional experience and learning how to use that foundation within a new legal system.

We understand that journey, and we are here to help you navigate it. Whether you are just starting, need focused exam strategy, or want to get acquainted with Canadian law, we support you at every step.

Master Canadian law. Master the NCA. Move forward with confidence.

Your legal journey may be changing.Your legal foundation doesn’t have to start from scratch.

Your NCA journey doesn’t have to be overwhelming.

Master NCA is designed to give internationally trained lawyers a structured pathway from uncertainty to understanding, and from understanding to exam readiness.
